THE ROOM

The Witness I Built to Survive

The person who saved my life never existed. THE ROOM is the record of what actually happened.

Forthcoming.

ABOUT

I have spent my life building things people could see. As Jon Saint, I performed throughout New York at clubs including CBGB and Don Hill's. With my wife and creative partner, Rene, I spent three decades building consumer brands, co-founding Mixology Clothing Company, one of the Northeast's most recognizable fashion retailers, and later Mindset Wellness, the company whose collapse opens this book. Our work appeared in Forbes, Women's Wear Daily, and the New York Post.

To everyone watching, the story looked like reinvention. Music. Retail. Entrepreneurship. Reinvention again. What almost no one saw was the life unfolding underneath it. THE ROOM is the first time those two stories become one.

I write about creativity, identity, entrepreneurship, grief, and mental health on my Substack, The Room. THE ROOM is my first book. I am at work on the second.
